PlugFeed is a technology platform that facilitates introductions and interactions between users seeking services (“Neighbors”) and independent service providers (“Plugs”). PlugFeed does not employ, endorse, supervise, direct, control, or guarantee any user, provider, business, or service offered through the platform.
All Plugs operate as independent businesses or individuals and are solely responsible for their services, pricing, licenses, insurance, permits, taxes, employees, and compliance with applicable laws.
Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming legally binding contracts.
Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep account information updated.
Users may not impersonate another person, business, or entity, create misleading profiles, or use PlugFeed for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
Any verification badges, identity checks, license reviews, profile indicators, or trust signals provided by PlugFeed are offered for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsements, guarantees, certifications, warranties, or representations regarding a user’s identity, qualifications, trustworthiness, licensing status, insurance coverage, or service quality.
Users remain solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before hiring, engaging, or interacting with another user.
Users retain ownership of content they submit to PlugFeed, including posts, comments, reviews, photos, profiles, proposals, and messages (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, users grant PlugFeed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, modify for formatting purposes, promote, and operate such content in connection with the platform and PlugFeed’s business operations.
PlugFeed reserves the right to remove, restrict, edit, moderate, suppress, or investigate User Content at its sole discretion.
Users may not submit false or misleading information, spam proposals or messages, harass or threaten others, create fake reviews or engagement, use bots or scraping tools, bypass platform safeguards, engage in unlawful or deceptive conduct, post illegal services, or misuse Neighbor or Plug account roles to manipulate platform activity.
PlugFeed may limit, filter, delay, review, restrict, or monitor messaging, proposal submissions, contact sharing, or communication features in order to reduce spam, fraud, abuse, solicitation, manipulation, or harmful platform activity.
Users acknowledge that certain communication features may be restricted unless initiated through approved platform workflows.
Reviews, ratings, reactions, endorsements, and reputation indicators reflect individual user opinions and experiences and do not represent the views or guarantees of PlugFeed.
PlugFeed reserves the right to remove, suppress, investigate, moderate, or restrict reviews or reputation activity suspected of fraud, manipulation, retaliation, abuse, conflicts of interest, or policy violations.
Certain platform features may require payment, subscriptions, proposal credits, promotional purchases, featured placement fees, transaction fees, or other monetization mechanisms.
PlugFeed reserves the right to introduce, modify, adjust, suspend, or discontinue pricing structures, subscription tiers, promotional tools, transaction fees, or monetized features at any time.
Jobs, bookings, leads, service relationships, or customer connections initiated, introduced, matched, arranged, proposed, accepted, messaged, or completed through PlugFeed may be subject to platform fees, including a platform success fee charged to the Plug after completion. Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement, completed jobs found through PlugFeed are subject to a 10% platform success fee based on the final amount charged to the Neighbor.
Plugs agree to accurately report final job amounts when requested. Neighbors may be asked to confirm the amount paid. PlugFeed may compare Plug-reported and Neighbor-reported amounts, review mismatches, request supporting information, and determine the final platform fee for billing, support, fraud prevention, and platform integrity purposes.
PlugFeed may invoice Plugs manually or through a third-party payment processor for applicable platform fees. Payment terms, due dates, accepted payment methods, taxes, late-payment consequences, and billing procedures may be communicated in-app, by email, in invoices, or in additional billing documentation.
Users may not use PlugFeed to obtain introductions, leads, customer relationships, proposals, messages, or job opportunities and then intentionally bypass PlugFeed to avoid applicable fees, reporting requirements, payment obligations, trust and safety controls, or platform workflows.
Failure to pay outstanding platform fees, intentional fee avoidance, false reporting, payment manipulation, or abuse of billing systems may result in account restrictions, reduced visibility, paused listings, suspension, termination, collection efforts, or other actions permitted by law.
Billing disputes must be submitted within 7 days of invoice, fee notice, or completion confirmation unless PlugFeed allows a longer period in writing. During beta, PlugFeed may manually review, adjust, correct, waive, or delay platform fees at its discretion while billing systems are being tested.
PlugFeed is not responsible for disputes, damages, losses, injuries, delays, dissatisfaction, property damage, non-performance, payment disagreements, cancellations, misconduct, or claims arising between users.
Users are solely responsible for resolving disputes directly with one another.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlugFeed and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to user interactions, services performed, platform downtime, hiring decisions, user-generated content, unauthorized access, fraud, misconduct, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of reputation, or loss of data.
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PlugFeed and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, or legal fees arising from their use of the platform, violation of these Terms, services provided or received, disputes with other users, unlawful conduct, or infringement of third-party rights.
PlugFeed may operate in beta, testing, experimental, or evolving stages. Certain features may be incomplete, unavailable, interrupted, modified, or removed at any time without notice.
Users acknowledge that beta services may contain bugs, errors, interruptions, security vulnerabilities, or unexpected behavior.
PlugFeed reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, restrict, remove, demonetize, shadow-limit, investigate, or terminate accounts, content, proposals, reviews, communications, or platform access for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens platform integrity, trust, safety, operations, reputation, or user experience.
PlugFeed may utilize automated systems, algorithms, artificial intelligence tools, moderation systems, ranking systems, fraud detection systems, recommendation systems, and machine-learning technologies to improve platform functionality, trust, safety, discovery, personalization, moderation, and user experience.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
